About our Church
New Hope Christian Church was formed
from two similar congregations in the spring of 2003. Together we have
grown in unity
and excitement for Christ, knowing that He will always
provide for all our needs. Considering this, there has been an active
ministry in the North Delta community for over 30 years.
As a member of the Mennonite Brethren Churches of
Canada, New Hope is connected to a Bible-believing culture that dates back
over 400 years. We have been changed by the person of Jesus Christ
whom has brought passion, excitement and hope to our lives. We desire to
share this hope
with others, growing healthy followers of Jesus.

What we believe:

- Jesus is the only way to God

- The Bible is inspired by God - 2 Tim. 3:16
- The Bible is the Word of God - 2 Tim. 3:16
- Jesus died for all our sins - 1 John 2:2; 2 Cor. 5:14;

- Jesus' sacrifice was a
substitution, for us - 1 Pet. 2:24
- Jesus rose from the dead in
His physical body - John 2:19-21
- Salvation is a free gift of
God - Rom.

- Salvation by Grace alone - See below
